Are you referring to the “additional content” field on the order emails? If so, I’m finding that regular line breaks get turned into paragraph tags, and paragraph tags are stripped. Other formatting tags (b, i, em, strong, etc.) seem to come through ok, if that’s what you want for styling.
If that doesn’t match what you’re seeing, is it possible your “Email type” (under WooCommerce -> Settings -> Emails -> [email you’re editing]) is set to Plain text instead of HTML/Multipart? If you find that it is, and it doesn’t give you the option to set it to HTML or Multipart, see my the last section of my format guide for a fix.
Hi Dan,
thank you.
No, I dont mean the additional content, but the confirmation text in order confirmation email:

Hmm, could that be coming from a plugin? Here’s a screen shot of my “Processing Order” email on a plain install. I think it’s the same one as your “Order Confirmation” email, maybe just a translation difference.
Your right, it came from Germanized Plugin. Will ask the plugin author about it. Sorry for the confusion 🙂
