  • Does reverting to CPanel works?

    hello,
Mr. heidari is my host master and the blog he is speaking about is mine, so I am going to continue with this topic.

I had problem on Cpanel too and my old host suspend me because of my high memory usage.
before any thing let me say I have tried most of the possible ways as solution, for example:
    – changing Key_buffer as said here
    – working with folders contain a lot files as said here
and some other solution (even I have disabled all of my plugings)
my wordpress version is 2.7.2 and now I am going to upgrade 2.8.4 and restore my database by wordpress’s xml export file.

do you have any other suggestion?

    Thank you,

I addes wp super chache, and did some tweak with apache as said here

it is a little better now, but I think it is high yet (it takes 250MB for just 15 online visitor)

I really do not know what shoul I do more…!!!

If I were you, I’d backup the whole blog on hardisk and then reinstall a fresh WordPress and see if the same problem still occurs.

Once I had a strange broken-layout problem with my WP and after I moved to another hosting, the problem solved itself. I didn’t do anything and the WP files I moved were exactly the same from the old hosting. So hosting problem can also cause strange WP errors.

    hello,

I did this yesterday and installed a fresh wp v.2.8.4, then imported data by wordpress xml file but I lost my posts sequence (my old data came to first) and all of my tags for posts. so I deleted it.

what do you mean by WP errors what kind of errors do you mean? and how can I find them?

and another question is what kind of processes can apply more memory usage on apache (because apache is using all of my memory)

My WordPress screwed my frugal 2.3 theme, the designer of the theme and I did not know what was wrong. After I moved to another hosting, the problem solved itself somehow. My frugal 2.3 did not get screwed up any longer.

What kind of hosting service do you use? If it has problem with fresh WP installation, then it’s the source of the problem may be.

Btw do you have full backup from your old hosting? the file with extension “.tar.gz” ?

Sometime the high memory usage occurs due to plugins. Disable all plugin and activate them one by one and check the memory usage.
