    Hi!

I’m hell of a fan of your plugin, it’s really great.
But I’ve got one issue with it:

When setting up the plugin with the assistant, I marked several cookies as functional cookies.

In the Cookie Banner Settings, I’ve selected the “regular” banner without categories. If I then enter my site in an inkognito window (chrome) and hit on “Allow only necessary”, no cookies are loaded at all – the only one stored is the one of Complianz.

My thought was that it will load all cookies that I’ve previously (in the assistant) as functional cookies.

Or am I just doing something wrong?

Please let me know how I can solve that issue because I really want to stick to your plugin 🙂

    Best wishes
    Chris

    Hi @yeahsus,

Marking cookies as functional will only change the description in the cookie policy. Which cookies, specifically which service would you like to add before consent?

    Thanks, let me know!

    Hi Aert!

For example the page I‘m working with currently sets a cookie namend „ wpSGCacheBypass“ – made by a caching plugin.

And in some cases there are companies who say – with aknowleding the GDRP – that Google Analytics Cookies are functional for their purpose. This is a well known practice especially for B2B companies.

And for those kind of cases it would be great to somehow configure it.

    Best wishes

    Hi @yeahsus,

You can configure Analytics in Complianz under Statistics – Configuration. You will need to check the 3 boxes under Statistics to enable Analytics before consent. Your IP addresses will be anonymized automatically.

The WPSGCacheBypass sounds like a cookie which is only present when adding appendix to the URL which bypasses caching settings, but I’m not sure. This should not cause a problem.

If you want to enable/disable blocking for services you can have a look at “Integrations”.

Let me know if you have any other questions,

    regards Aert
