New users can’t access backend

    Hi, I have a few different user roles already created and also use the plugin Ultimate Member to approve their memberships and allow them access to our protected categories.
    I have been trying to create a new user for staff to be able to read customer orders from the back end. However whenever I create a new user, they cannot get into the backend – the admin bar doesn’t come up and will just go to the homepage when adding /admin to the url. Are you able to help me with this please?

    Okay so the new user can now access the backend using the /wp-admin url link, but still cannot access the backend using the admin bar from the front end (it’s not there).

    It somehow fixed itself and appeared after refreshing the user’s page a bunch of times.
