Is it possible to have different saved templates with different custom code placed in the function editor?

There’s unfortunately no way to have separate function editor files for each import, but if you need to organize your snippets you could use a plugin like Code Snippets to save your code instead: https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/.
