help my site dissapeared

    my site just disapeared, i get tis error screen:

    Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@visual.gi and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Did you delete the database from your webhost? I did that once and had to rebuild my entire site again.

    If not, then check you have all the files on your FTP server.

    i didn´t do anything, i was working in the theme editor, nothing to the database, all files on ftp… :S

    Stales89, those are absolutely ridiculous assumptions….

    issieparis, check with your hosting service – visual.gi – to see if they are having problems. They might have already fixed the problem.

    Think about what you did last before the problem. Were you editing/changing permalinks at the time? If so, your .htaccess file might be corrupted, which is a common cause of “server errors.”

    the server is the company server and i did nothing to the permalinks.
    althought i just uploaded all the files to the server again and now everything its allright.

    That’s good. It was either a transient problem at visual.gi, or a file upload glitch when you saved your changes in the visual editor. Be sure and only edit theme files, nothing outside the theme directory.
