• This website: http://projects.renedaalder.com

It displays boxes of content that expand to an appropriate dimension and pushes other content to the left, right, or below.

I understand some of how this would be developed but I’m curious if someone knows of the simplest way to pull this off or can suggest the best way to approach it? Do you think each box has specific instruction of how and where to expand it’s content? That’s one thing i’m not sure about.

    Thanks.

  • Use NextGen Gallary Plugin for this issue.

I’m not sure if I understand. I have used the nextgen gallery before but it’s generally a lightbox plugin.

Does it have the kind of functionality like the example I provided? I’m asking if there’s a tool that exists that expands the div and pushes all other items up, down, left, and right.

Are you suggesting that I should hack the nextgen plugin? I could give that a shot.

only slideshow and lightbox effect is available in that plugin…

    You can try it once..

It would be very difficult to implement these features in wordpress. There are some other plugins available, but not exactly like this. You need create your own plugin or class
