• So i have a theme in place but i would like to add side images to kind of encapsulate the content.Currently there is a solid background color which is what we want behind the content, but on the sides the owner wants the image to sit on the sides of the content and fade into that color. I have no problem making the images , but how and where to place them w/in the theme is where i need help. Does that make sense? Any help would be great for I am pretty new to wordpress.. I can put up a link to the test site if needed… I would imagine that this is a CSS setting that has to do with the background but again i wasnt sure where to put it..

    Thanks

  • Yes a link would be needed really in order to work out exactly where what you want to achieve.

The test site can be seen here:

Along the sides the owner wants to have images along the bottom… we might even get rid of the header background and have the side images all the way up rather then just below the black vintage header background image.. again we are wanting to have images along both sides of the content of the site..

    Thanks again..

    *BUMP*

Edit the css in your theme’s style.css. As for how to do background images with css, try a Google search for: css background image
