sub-brand hierarchy

    Hi, your Brands plugin seems to be the only one advertising brand hierarchy feature. Can you confirm that this will enable me to set up my store (selling motorcycle products) with its ‘Tyre brands’ in a different hierarchy to ‘Helmet brands’?

    I’m attempting to use a product filter plugin to allow customers to sort their tyres by brand-name first, then the sizes attributes. Bt the existing brands plugin (by Premmerce) has all brands in same hierarchy, so the tyre-filter displays the names of helmet and accessories brands, not just tyre-brands.

    Also, if I switch to the YITH plugin, will the 9000+ products need their brands reassigned at product-level, or is it possible to keep the current brands assignments?

    Yes, you can manage brands hierarchically with this plugin.

    Regarding your question:

    With this plugin version, you will need to reassigned all the current brands manually.
