Description / caption doesn’t show up

The problem with your slider is, that at the Text bar:

the “Show slide count” is turned on. When this is turned on, the title and description will be replaced with the current slide index and the slide count. If you would prefer showing the title and the description, you should turn this option off.

But you can use layers too:

what you can use to put down texts into your slides. If you want the text under the image, move the image from the background:

into an image layer instead:

and you could put down a text or heading layer under it.

At your text bar:

you can find a “full width” option. You should turn that on and it should be fine!

It is based on the Responsive mode how your slider’s size behaves. In your case if you want to have a 478px wide slider, use Auto responsive mode:

with Upscale being turned off. Then you slider will be maximum as wide as the given Slider size – width:

After that use the Align option to have your slider in the center:

To do that, you would need to enter each slide and they have “Link” options:

You could insert the url or the image you are using.

In the Pro version we have a “Lightbox from backgrounds” option:

which would automatically make all your background images to open them up in a lightbox if you click on them.
