Thank you for this review. We don’t really agree with it, though. The fact that Community Administrators can edit posts is exactly what that feature was designed to do. They are Community ADMINISTRATORS and as admins they have the right to ADMINISTER the community posts and other things amongst the entire community.
You wouldn’t let some random people be your WordPress site’s admin, would you? So why would you bump someone untrustworthy to be a Community Administrator? You’re basing this on a non-existent feature that you’d like to have.
Whatever update failures or errors you encountered, we’re sure that if you contacted our support about them, you’d definitely be helped. If you haven’t, please open another ticket and ask for our CEO Eric Tracz directly, he’ll look into every ticket you’ve had opened in the past.
On a side note, we actually make most money in renewals so good customer care & satisfaction leading to continued subscription is our highest priority, one-off 1 year purchases are not a sustainable way to go.
Administrators and moderators can modify content, and that’s the default behavior, we don’t intend to ever change that – absolute control is our point, and if someone is against that, there are some PHP hooks that can be used to limit this.

This feature was available to ANYONE made manager or mod in a group regardless of their access to the admin panel. So I think you misunderstood my complaint. You’re marketing this as a social media network and allowing people to create groups should and is an option for anyone joining the network I create. But that doesn’t mean I know them or think they should have this power. Site admins, I understand – those will be people I trust. Your comment leads me to believe I was referring to site admins – I was not. I was referring to regular members who create their own groups. My issue was with that. With this flaw, I would have to have my own people create and manage all groups, which defeats the purpose.
But, it’s all moot because I think what I was pointing out finally sunk in. Your most recent update added the ability to turn this feature off – for that I thank you wholeheartedly. Maybe what I was communicating wasn’t clear, but it’s resolved now and I have changed my review to a 5 star – it’s what you deserved in the first place for this platform and even more so now that you’ve addressed this issue. I’m sorry that I had to make such a big deal out of it, but am glad that you fixed it.
