Error in payment with Stripe

I am running a payed version this plugin, but my payment with Stripe seems to be unstable. Sometimes it works and sometimes it don’t – and I can’t seem to find a pattern. I though got errors from mobile and Internet Explorer on laptops a couple of times. It comes with this error message after entering payment details: “Must provide source or customer. Please try again.
The order is registed in WordPress every time, but the payment is not done and the emails are not sent when the error has occurred. I found this answer on Stack Overflow, but don’t really know what to do about it: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/42500984/stripe-must-provide-source-or-customer

We have fixed this issue in our latest version. We have upgraded the Stripe payment process with SCA-ready. Please update to the new version and setup Stripe keys correctly. here is the guide to set up Stripe.
