Are your settings correct?
WP DAshboard–>Settings-_>General–>Site Language
Did you try with PO Edit(in my opinion the best and easiest way to translate po files) and moved your translation into this directory of your server?
wp-content/languages/wp-job-manager/
also try uploading your .po and .mo files into this directory, sometimes WP is weird regarding tranlslation

Not quite sure, but I think there was a new POT file in one of the latest versions of WPJM. Did you update your .po file from the POT file?
Did you remove this “%s” in the translation file? You can´t remove this, this needs to be in the translation.
Or maybe this comes from your theme?

Note that German is only 81% translated, which is likely the problem here:
