    Hi there!

I have two instances where I need to have the images of specific page types to fit their container. I have used every css trick I know to try and drill down to a point where I can get it to do that but with no luck. I hope you can help!

    1. On the “All Listings” page you will see that the Preview Image I set cuts off on nearly all the grid items. I tried it on list view and it still has the same problem.

    2. On specific listings I have tried to do the same as above with the Preview Images but with no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Hello,
You can adjust cropping size of preview image as you prefer from Directorist settings page.

    Steps:
    1. Go to “Directory Settings > Listings Page”.
    2. Set “Preview Image Cropping” option to YES.
    3. Adjust height and width from “Image Cropping Width” and “Image Cropping Height” option.
    4. Save Changes

No you can’t because it doesn’t work. There are 2 cropping options and regardless of what it’s set to, it doesn’t change the image size…and it enlarges them on single post pages.

But in the grid view as OP points out there is a space and the image doesn’t fit the container at all. There’s about a 50px space gap at the top of the category background box container, the image is scooted down, contain doesn’t work, cover doesn’t work, 0px doesn’t work, display: none doesn’t work.

The cropping doesn’t work…and apparently neither does editing the css options so please look into this and fix it or let people know how to remove that element entirely and just add an image.
