• I have been using wordpress but have recently decided to do all of my sites using it. I have been doing templates for sites, but every time I try to use Jquery, it does not work like on a normal page.

If you go to http://www.altusdesigns.com you can see what I mean. I am trying to make http://cssglobe.com/lab/easyslider1.5/04.html work. I put the html into a slide.php file. Put the javascript call tags in the header, and uploaded the css. However, as you can see, the Jquery just doesnt seem to be working. I have tried several sliders and none seem to be working, so I figured I must be doing something fundamentally wrong. Not just with this code.

    Any advise?

    Thank you!

  • when reviewing the site, all I saw was an empty css template, a VERY messy code, and no sidebars.
Have you made changes to the page since posting the question ?

You MUST clean your code a bit, very hard to follow.
you also have 2 calles to different jquery (not so reccomanded) and 2 different slideshows that are called.
take off all the other slides plugins before you try.
also the source to js/easySlider1.7.js should be relative…
