Importing from Google Sheets

    I’m running into issues trying to import from Google Sheets.

    I’ve followed the right steps in clicking share, copy link for viewing, replacing the end with export?format=csv, and putting that into TablePress. I made sure that CSV was selected during import format. But once it finishes importing, the HTML/CSS source of the sheet is shown through different cells. What am I doing incorrectly?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    If you see HTML code throughout the cells, you are not yet using the proper URL, I’m afraid. You’d need a link that directly returns a CSV file, without asking for logins and things like that. Unfortunately, I’m not too familiar with Google Spreadsheets, so that I can’t really guide you on where to get that URL.
