Playing background video in slow motion

    I am using a background video that is configured to play in slow motion. When I upload it to the WordPress media library and install it as the background for a section of the web page (using Elementor), the slow-motion effect is lost. How can I retain the slow-motion setting from the original .mp4 file?

    Can you show us the slow effect by uploading the video to a video/ file sharing service and linking us to it? Alternatively if you have FTP access, you can upload the video directly yourself.

    Regardless, this isn’t really a WordPress question. WordPress does not do any form of processing to a video file upload. Your MP4 is simply included in the page however you put it there, without any alterations.

    So, the problem exists in either how you made the video play in slow motion, or in how the browser is playing it. WordPress has nothing to do with it.

    Thanks, @anevins and @otto42. I was able to resolve the issue by reconfiguring the MP4 file outside of WordPress. I was hoping to learn if there is a different way to load a video into WordPress than by going through the Media Library. It seemed like a WordPress issue because the original video ran differently on my local machine and after I uploaded it to the Media Library.
