    Hi,

i want to publish a timed menu-item. e.g. the menu-item “carneval” which links to a wordpress-page should only be visible from 11.11.2019 until 28.02.2020. Is this possible with this plugin?

    Greeting from germany

Sorry, but Timed Content is a shortcode and only works with content in pages and posts (or in widgets when you use a plugin for shortcodes in widgets), but not for menu items.

The plugin If Menu provides conditions for menu items – but so far no date based rules. But if you ask the author, maybe he can add this to his plugin.

Using the filter wp_get_nav_menu_items you can also add your own handler in functions.php.

Thanks for your reply. I already found If Menu and implemented an custom option for the menu item – worked perfect .. but the also used plugin “w3 cache total” is not compatible with it. Understandable as both contradicte each other. If some other wants to use If Menu with custom time options: https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-add-conditional-logic-to-menus-in-wordpress/
