After my last automatic update for WordPress 5.2.3 I am now unable to get to the Woocommerce settings page. Everything else works with WooCommerce expect the settings page.

I have debug = true and get the following error

Fatal error: Cannot declare class WC_Settings_General, because the name is already in use in /var/www/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/admin/settings/class-wc-settings-general.php on line 0

    Any ideas? Thanks

    Hi there,

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble accessing your settings page!

As a first step, please try deactivating then reactivating the WooCommerce plugin to see if the settings page reappears.

If it does not reappear, in the majority of cases where a settings page is not accessible or throws errors, it is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Check to see if the issue is resolved

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

I hope that helps! Have a wonderful day!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
