Admin navigation not showing

    I have just completed a full manual install of WordPress 2.8.4 and I’ve logged in and out a few times, but the admin navigation is not showing. Everything else seems to work.

    I took a screenshot so you can see what I mean:

    Does anyone know what could be causing? Should I reinstall?
