On the checkout page, if an error is done while filling up the checkout page fields (for example invalid email format), stripe payment gateway does not see those errors and payment pop up comes up to the payment and shows successful payment (if valid card details are given). Only after this, the woocommerce errors are shown (example, invalid email id, user already exists etc).

Can someone please help me and show how to restrict the payment pop up until all the errors on checkout fields are sorted out ?

Hi @hirumani, are you using the WooCommerce Stripe integration? We wouldn’t expect this to happen – the error should prevent Stripe processing the payment.

If you’re not using our Stripe plugin and would like to switch, you can download it here: https://woocommerce.com/products/stripe/

If you need assistance with that, you can reach us here:  https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/

Otherwise I’d recommend reaching out to the developers of the Stripe plugin you are using so they can assist.

Hi @stephjacq , Thank you for the reply. This issue has been resolved. We faced this problem 2 weeks back on a live site and since it was time critical, we had to immediately move onto another stripe plugin, which solved the problem. May be we will give it another try during next test phase.

Thanks a lot. I am marking this as resolved as of now.
