ELI5 – Registration link doesn’t do anything

Hi guys,

I am trying to set up Simple Membership for a Stripe subscription plan.
Everything seems more or less working now, except that the

{reg_link}

sent by email just redirects to the payment button page (is that what it is supposed to do?)

and the

{activation_link}

is not generated at all, therefore users cannot create their login credentials.

My questions are:

1 – What does the {activation_link} do?
2 – What does the {reg_link} do?
3 – Can you show me a template of the email to be sent after the user pays? My Email Settings tab came with totally empty bodies.
4 – Do I have to create a “Create your credentials here” page? And how?

5 to 99 – SO MANY unclear things about translation for a bilingual site, but those will come another day 🙂
