Website on new directory

A long time ago with my first WordPress site I put WordPress in the root directory on my server. Over the last few years I’ve developed a lot of other sites for myself and clients. I do this by installing WordPress in different sub-directories to keep things organized. Now I’d like to transfer the original website over to its own sub-directory to clean up the root directory. How would I do that?

The situation you are talking about is a normal migration. Our plugin doesn’t care about which directory your website is in. It just does the job of replacing the domain name. For example, your website is https://yourdomain.com. You want to migrate it to https://yourdomain.com/subsite/, then our plugin will replace https://yourdomain.com with https://yourdomain.com/subsite/, you can use https://yourdomain.com /subsite access your new website, but if you bind a new domain to your subdirectory, for example, you can access https://yourdomain.com/subsite with https://yournewdomain.com, our plugin will use https://yournewdomain.com replaces https://yourdomain.com, anyway, our plugin will replace the old domain with the new domain name depending on what domain name your new wordpress website’s Site Address (URL), you can check it in admin panel – >setting ->general
You have to clean up the root directory manually via FTP after completing the migration.
