Allow user comments

    I would like to allow users to add comments to individual images uploaded to the gallery. Is this possible?

    UPG is just like regular wordpress post with advance capabilities.
    Turn on/off comment as you do for wordpress post.
    Or you can use various 3rd party plugin and paste shortcode in preview/media upg settings at specified position.

    I’m using UPG on a page rather than a post.
    Does this affect how users can comment?

    For page, insert shortcode or javascript just below the upg shortcode.
    Comment is not part of UPG features but you can achieve it.
