[Plugin: WordPress.com Stats] Does not work

Hello, yesterday I installed WordPress.com Stats. According to the plugin part of the website, the installation has been succesfull. However, there’s no counter in the footer and the plugin doesn’t count. I have asked some people to visit my website, which they have done, but all counters keep saying that I had zero vistors. I would highly appreciate any advice! Thanks! Florine
