    To let a new registering user choose what role they want like contributor or subscriber?

    I have an article community blog and I need this feature so if they choose subscriber they wont be able to compose a new post.

    if they can choose on signup, why don’t just let everyone have contributor access by default? Anyway, those not interested won’t write, right?
