• Since the update, I have no idea how to edit HTML visually. I can only edit HTML blocks as far as I know. I am trying to add Amazon image affiliate links and I USED to be able to center the image and edit the alt text by clicking the center button and the “image edit” button. But now I need to know how to manually do it in code, unless there’s a way to do it through the classic editor.

You can do everything you said with a normal image block.

Make an Image block. Put your image into it. Resize it a bit using the handles (because it will be full width otherwise). Then click the center button in the top toolbar to center it.

Now, on the right hand sidebar, there is a place to put the alt text under the Image Settings dropdown. To make it a link, there is a Link Settings dropdown where you can set it to link to a Custom URL and then put your link in.
