I tried it, but the “License Manager” tab only appears on the product page when I create the product as a “Simple Product”. With “variable product” the tab disappears again. Where do I get the thinking error? Or simply a wrong setting?

It’s not on an unique tab on variable products. Please check the tab where the individual product variations are defined.
Ah, sorry – my mistake! Of course the tab is then with the variants… Thanks for the quick help.
To adapt the emails (and possibly attach a PDF) I need PHP knowledge or a plugin, right?

Yes, you are right. Native support for extendable email templates (a la WooCoommerce) are on the TODO list.

Since I’m now implementing the shop, I’m going to look for an email plugin that is compatible with the Licence Manager.
