Decrease Mobile Footer Height

In the mobile view of that page, and all the pages under Story and Us, the black footer section is very high.

Inspector shows that it is #footer-widgets.

In the theme settings, I see Footer Widgets and Footer Bottom.

Footer Widgets have not been activated. I didn’t see anything there that would help me.

How can I reduce the footer height in the mobile view of those pages?
