    1. Changing the header in the header tab in customize section
    2. Checking the custom css
    3. Changing featured image
    4. Adding custom css with !important
    5. searching the theme files for any reference of the old image

    can not figure out where the image is being set. Please help!

    You are using the page header. To change it, follow the below method –

    Go to Customize – General Options – Page Title and select Background style and upload an image. This will serve as the fallback if the image is not added in individual posts/pages.

    For posts, go to Blog – Single Post – Featured Image in Page Header and enable it. This will take the featured image and show on the page header.

    For pages, go to the page – Edit – OceanWP Settings – Title – Title Style and select Background Image. Then upload an image. You can also use this option to replace the images for each post instead of the featured image.
