Font Awesome 5 Support

For the moment it does not work with v5.
We’ll be looking into adding compatibility in the future.

I do things differently now. I have a different plugin that makes sure v5 is installed and no conflicts. Then I stopped using this menu plugin and did it myself by using the additional css setting for the menu items in the editor.

I use these two:

With the latter plugin I set the radio option in settings:

Don’t load Font Awesome 5’s stylesheet (use this if you load Font Awesome 5 elsewhere on your site)

When you go to your menu editor use the Screen Options drop-down at the top and switch on the CSS Classes check box. Now for each menu item you can set your icon. For example:
