Bosscounter plugin help?

I want to create a plugin or widget that would allow me to track progression on how many bosses my guild has killed in the game World of Warcraft. An example of what I am trying to create is here. Can anyone help me to create something similar or adapt this code to work in a sidebar widget? Thanks in advance!
