wp supercache prevent me editing with elementor

    When I have wp supercache v.1.6.9 activated (whether caching is on or off) I get an error trying to edit any elementor pages with elementor (content not found.. the function the_content is not in the correct format for elementor to work on this page or somesuch). With the supercache plugin inactive I can edit just fine. This happens when all plugins but elementor are inactive.

    Anyone else experiencing this problem?
