Found the issue
There is a conflict with this plugin:
https://es.wordpress.org/plugins/custom-post-type-permalinks/
For that CPT I was using this permalink structure:
/%country%/%postname%/
country = taxonomy
For some reason, the system could not identify the relationship and broke the page.
I have removed the plugin and reset the permalinks and it works fine.
There is also this plugin which does a similar function but with languages in mind. I have not had much time to test it though: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-slug-post-type-custom-language/
What custom-post-type-permalinks does is rewrite the URL using nested terms as the path. It’s not exactly what that slug plugin does
Probably this plugin has issues to map the rewrite or something like that.
I found another plugin with regards to Permalinks and apparently it’s compatible with PolyLang: https://wordpress.org/plugins/permalink-manager/

Looks great the pro solution. I don’t the lite can fit with what I was asking. I will take it in consideration for the future.
