[Plugin: Register Plus] WordPress 2.8.3 Problems

    Excellent plugin. Password strength and CAPTCHA do not work under WordPress 2.8.3. Everything else seems OK.

    Password strength displays as ‘Too Short’ no matter what the length of the password, but registration proceeds correctly.

    Enabling Simple CAPTCHA prevents registration from completing. ‘Image match error’ is displayed and re-registration requested. Adding the code <?php session_start(); ?> to the top line of the wp_login.php file causses further internal WordPress problems.

    What is the chance of a fix and what is the likely time scale?
