    Hi all,

I am starting a subscription box service website that will also have a retail shop for customers who doesn’t want to subscribe to the subscription box.

I have a total of 231 products that customers will be able to select from.

There will be 3 subscription box plans
    Category 1
    Category 2
    Category 3

Plus the shop page (this too is a category, I’m not using the standard shops page).

What I’m trying to do is, make all 231 products free/$0.00 for all three categories (for the subscription box members). But I want the shop’s page to display the actual price for each product.

Is there a way of doing this? Or would I have to duplicate all products just for the retail shop to display retail prices, and set the first batch of products to $0 for the subscription box?

    Hi @shakila5562,

You can use the WooCommerce Memberships extension to provide a 100% disocunt on all products for any customer that has signed up for a membership.

Non-members will have to pay the retail prices for all products.

    Hi @luminus,

Thank you so much for your reply. I went to do this, and I guess I forgot to mention that members will only get a certain amount of products free per month based on their membership level. So once that limit has been reached, regular price will then be applied to any other products.

Right now i’m working with woocommerce dynamic pricing & discounts extension. And I got it to where once the amount of products are added to the cart for that membership level, the cart total updates to $0. The problem with this is… Once they checkout and want to start a new order to buy more products outside of their membership. If they add the same amount of products to their cart. The discount will be applied again.

    Hi @shakila5562

I’m not clear which plugin you’re using for your membership program – is it the WooCommerce Memberships plugin? If so, by default, you can’t limit the discounts within memberships. If they have access to it, they have full access to it.

If you are referring to the WooCommerce Memberships plugin, please reach out to us via a support ticket: https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/
