Issue with empty elements in HTML view

    Hi there,

    I am experiencing an issue when editing in HTML view with empty elements, for example:
    <i class=”far fa-comment”></i>

    It shows after submitting, but if I come out of the page and then go back in and edit in HTML view, the element disappears.

    Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Are you saying that it’s not actually in the page content, perhaps added by the theme when the page is displayed?

    It appears on the frontend when published, but when I go back in to edit the page, it is no longer there.
