Geolocation checking not working behind IPv6

    Hi,
    I am having trouble with the Geolocations Module.

    I have Amazon Affiliate Links from .com[main geo]/.ca/.co.uk/.fr/.de/.it/.es

    When I am behind an IPv6 Address and go to my Website, the Affiliate Links don’t change to the respective Country, e.g. Germany. If I am on Mobile for example with an IPv4 Address, it works (also Germany).

    The Maxmind DB Testing works fine and gives me the correct Country every time, no matter if it’s IPv6 or IPv4, but Thirstyaffiliates doesn’t seem to always get it right.

    I activated the “Disable Forwarding Proxy Test” which helps when a user has IPv6 (and IPv4) but then most of the time users with only IPv4 don’t get geo-adapted links anymore.

    Is this a known bug?

    I’m sorry to hear that you’re having this issue.

    Unfortunately, we haven’t yet supported IPv6 address for our Geolocation feature.

    But please be aware that I’ve already escalated this to our developers for review and to support this feature in our future updates.

    However, please keep in mind that we can’t provide an ETA for this at the moment.
