How to edit the CSS of Blog Entries, Archives and Categories pages?
-
Hi!
My main problem is that my website has a background image and I need a different background for content of all Blog related pages. I managed to get the background for Single Blog pages by adding a <div> with a class of its own around the desired content in the Single.php file and giving that class my desired CSS in the Customizer. However I haven’t been able to locate the file for Blog Entries or any other Archives pages.
So which files contain the templates for Blog Entries and Archives? Or is there some Class or ID that only affects the content inside <main> in these pages?
I managed to edit the styles of Blog Entries and Archives pages by giving my CSS to classes .blog and .archive but these classes stretch through the whole Body of the page which means they also edit the space around the Header and Top Bar and I’d only like to touch the content inside Main. I cannot use .main either because that affects the rest of my website as well, not just the blog portion.
I know I could make my life so much easier if I just bought Elementor Pro and the whole extension package of OceanWP but I cannot afford them right now.
I really hope you’ll have the time to answer my question.
Thank you anyway!P.S. Please don’t mind my page’s blog entries, they’re just placeholders/ dummies to give an idea what the page would look like.
