WP Tags and SEO Plugins

    When utilizing a plugin such as All in One SEO or Platinum SEO, is it necessary to still fill in the basic WP tags and excerpt fields?

    Meaning…with the plugin installed, do I fill in the WP fields AND the SEO plugin fields or can I simply fill in the SEO plugin fields?
