My page is broken into two sections separated by a call to action. The bottom part is a custom field, the lightbox effect doesn’t work on the bottom half but it does work on the top.

Hi, SLB automatically activates links in post/page/widget content. Links outside of these standard content areas can be manually activated using slb_activate(). See SLB’s documentation for more information on using slb_activate().
