How to integrate woocommerce code into custom site

Hello,
I would like to make my own custom website in wordpress which I have done before. What I would like to do though is to integrate woocommerce into the website. I’m not sure if I would have to access the wordpress database myself or if all items are loaded on page load etc. Any thoughts or ideas?

For example I want to make a site selling a product. Instead of using a wordpress theme I will make a 100% custom site. When I reference this product I am selling that I added into the backend of wordpress I want the user to be able to click on my prompt button to buy but then be taken to the woocommerce checkout area etc.

Is this possible?
