Password link is invalid

Our users keep getting this error when they click the link in their email that they were sent when they requested a password reset.

Your password reset link appears to be invalid. Please request a new link below.

This specifically happens when users attempt to register for a new seminar on our site, go to create a new account, and then click the lost password link. It’s after receiving the link in their email after those steps, which seem to be fairly common, that they get this error.

I saw this issue raised in other support tickets and you attributed it to cacheing, but I’ve turned off all cacheing and our hosting company promises they’re not doing any server side cacheing.
