    I have always been able to use the free version without difficulty since I never had to migrate sites that were larger than 512MB.

    The developers of this plugin have put a big stick to that!

    You can no longer migrate any kilobytes from your website without first depositing $ 69 for it.

    I haven’t seen me again. I have now switched to WPvivid. A REALLY free alternative that allows me to back up and migrate sites (no matter how large they are), happy and free of charge!
