I managed to SORT OF do it… But it is a static image…. And very large…. I am guessing if I shrunk it maybe go up)…. But it’s nto a carosel slider… Hmmm… Am I on the right tracks?

Yes, probably. You’d need to make a child theme and replace the logic that pulls in the header image with a call to a slider. There are numerous slider plugins from which to choose.
