Plugin translations for WP repository | WordPress.org

I’ve developed a plugin (Shortcodes Finder – see the link) in english and italian languages. In the plugin page a message tells that my plugin is not translated in Italian yet.
But for my plugin I’ve already provided a po/mo file for the Italian language (that works well in the installations).

How can I tell to WP repository that plugin is already translated in Italian?

As far as I know you don’t need to provide po/mo files and it’s often discouraged. From my understanding the way WordPress handles providing translations for plugins (and themes) have changed from making the developer provide po/mo files. WordPress uses it’s own translation system and will pull available translations down with the plugin whenever downloaded from a specific language. This allows users from all over to quickly and easily contribute translations to your plugin. You would have to go to your plugins translation page and provide Italian alternatives:
