    Hello,

We are using Avada theme version 5.9

Last week there was an upgrade on Avada theme to 5.9.1. After doing it, we saw there are some sections on our web and images that are broken (you can only see half of them).

After investigating with Avada support, we found the issue was related Smush plugin after disabling all our plugins and reactivating them one by one.

Checking the options of Smush plugin, I found out that after deactivating Lazyload, the issue gets rectified.

The strange thing is that this issue does not happen with Avada version 5.9.

We have our web in two versions:

    – Live (https://www.ethosdata.com/request-virtual-dataroom-platform-demo/) web in Avada 5.9 and Smush plugin with Lazyload. Here a screenshot with an example.

    – Staging (https://www.staging1.ethosdata.com/request-virtual-dataroom-platform-demo/) web in Avada 5.9.1 and Smush plugin with Lazyload. Here a screenshot with an example.

Is this a known issue? Do you know if your plugin has any incompatibility with Avada 5.9.1?

The staging site is password protected. If you need to check it, let me know.

    David.

  • Hi @daviddiez,

Are you using Avada lazy load functionality, by any chance?

    Best regards,

    Hi @vanyukov,

We have it OFF in Avada theme options.

    David.

Could you please remove the password protection on staging, so I can take a look?

    Best regards,
    Anton

@vanyukov I have removed the password protection.

Interesting. I was able to replicate on a test site. As a temp solution, in Avada – Theme Options – Custom CSS you can add:

    .fusion-carousel-wrapper { height: 78px !important; }

That should fix the issue. But it doesn’t look to be Smush related. For example, if I start resizing the browser window, the images start looking ok. I think it might be related to some change that affects how the carousel block is rendered in Avada.

    Best regards,
    Anton
