godaddy installatron backup fails due to wordfence

    I was always able to make backups via installatron on godaddy. today after updating wordfence, the backups would not work and it would give me a 503 error cannot resolve website…

    As I disabled wordfence, installatron was able to complete the backups.

    What happened to wordfence that is somehow blocking that?

    Can you please fix this?

    Hi @lipctech,

    Installatron’s backups may be blocked by Wordfence’s firewall. Can you check Wordfence -> Tools -> Live Traffic and see if it’s being blocked? From there, you should be able to see the reason too.

    @wfdave thank you! You are right, the IP from godaddy was being blocked, I must have done it myself. I whitelisted it and I assume, next time, I try installatron, it will work.
