Comment Spam from real users

    Hello.

    No matter what legit people check in commenting, i always get this:

    [* Shield plugin marked this comment as “0”. Reason: Failed GASP Bot Filter Test (comment token failure) *]

    Thanks for reporting this.

    We’re investigating what’s causing it.

    Could you, please, check your “Comments Cooldown” and “Comment Token Expire” settings, and let us know if they’re the same?

    Comments cooldown is 30 and Expire is 600.

    But i try to post my self (un logged) as a test one comment and i get the same problem.

    Just quickly, the comments that have this text in them, are they in the “Pending” (Unapproved) status?

    Yes, they are marked Pending to be approved.

    There’s a bug in there that we can’t quite find, but we’ve got a couple of improvements to the comments system that’d we’ve been planning to put in-place for a while and so we’ve set about rewriting some parts of it. The next release should resolve this problem for you. Thanks for your patience while we do that…
