Yep and they are using eval() in that file. Not good practice. Subscribing to this thread.
This sounds like corrupted cache.
Please go to your WordPress database and delete option with the name “__plugins_cache_242” from your wp_options table.
Something like
DELETE FROM wp_options WHERE option_name=’__plugins_cache_242′;
Just replace wp_options with your actual WP Options table name.
*** You might need to re-enter your activation key after that.
PS: This issue has nothing to do with free SNAP plugin from wordpress.org. Free SNAP plugin does not have file nxs-snap-pro-upgrade.php and it does not use function eval() anywhere in it.
This issue belongs to commercial SNAP Pro plugin.

I have the same issue after updating to WP 5.2.1.
Thanks @nextscripts, I’ll try that in the database in a few minutes. And sorry for opening the ticket here, I was desperate.
@cgscomputers I’ve updated to WP 5.2.1 this morning, the issue only showed up lots of hours later. Dunno if it’s related or not.
I have exactly the same problem. Proudly powered by WordPress 5.2.
@nextscripts Deleting that option in the database did fix the issue. And yes, I had to re-enter my activation key. Thanks.
This does not negate the fact that everyone had a problem at the same time.
I’m glad WordPress 5.2 showed me what the error was via an email alert (recent new feature). That helped me quickly see the issue was with SNAP.
@rfischmann same here – I updated last night and didn’t notice issues until today, but slowly it was page to page eventually being all pages. I assume this has to do with older cached pages not being affected and as the caches aged out and got rebuilt again, the error became visible.
@nextscripts deleting this option in the database resolved my issue and like the OP, I had to re-enter my activiation key. Thanks for posting a fix.
@applestage Again. We can’t discuss this issue here. Please go to our site if you need more info: https://www.nextscripts.com/2019/05/corrupted-cache-issue-with-snap-pro/
